Actuary Staff
We are looking for a recently graduated junior actuary keen on gaining some first hand practical experience in fundamental actuarial and financial analysis work in a subsidiary of a multinational general insurance company.
The chosen candidate will be working closely with and reporting to the Actuary. Learning by doing will be an important aspect and should enable her/him to gradually assume basic actuarial work (so the actuary can focus on more complex analysis).

Reporting to the Actuary, you will be responsible for the following main duties:
Deputize the actuary (after a successful introduction period)
Independently perform basic regular actuarial tasks such as maintain systems, execute analysis, prepare reports, monitor figures and alert for anomaly
Execute ad hoc actuarial analysis requested by other departments (under supervision of actuary)
Support Planning & Performance Management, also to acquire further
knowledge/experience
Assist planning in data mining and query handling
Qualifications
Diligent, eager to learn from practical work, team player and good
analytical skill
Capable of working effectively and efficiently under challenging
environment
Actively contributes to continuous improvement, sets high professional
standards (eye to details, etc)
Min. Bachelor degree, faculty of Mathematics/ Statistics, preferably in
Actuarial Studies. Fresh graduate is welcome. Additional
education/experienc e in Actuary/Finance is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, Access & PowerPoint
Fluent in written and spoken English
